I'm overlooking a magnificent valley, once again surrounded by beautiful vineyards and trees. There are acorns that have fallen from acorn trees all over the ground.
I am reminded that wherever there is a seed, there is also a forest.
You may have sown a seed in your own life or been a blessing in someone's life and done something for them and wondered, where is the response? where is the harvest? when is it coming back?
One seed brings a great harvest and I want to encourage you today. You have sown many seeds in your life, you have given many things in your life, you have prayed for many people.
There is a great harvest surrounding you just as I am standing underneath an acorn tree surrounded by multiple seeds.
In this vineyard full of grape vines and acorn trees, there are countless seeds and a potential for a great harvest, but we don't always take notice of the process of growth, we tend to notice the trees once grown.
Do not be discouraged by not seeing a harvest YET. The seeds of yesterday are the trees of today. Once that seed is planted God's seed time and harvest process begins. You can't always see what He is up to, but He is at work just as He said.
As you give give to the poor, take care of others and lay your life down for God, He has a harvest for you and He will bless you.
Wherever there is a seed, there is a harvest and wherever there is a gift, there is abundance.
"Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness."
2 Corinthians 9:10
