Unleash God's Power in Your Life

The word "Anoint" means to rub with oil. It is a sacred touch.

As the Holy Spirit fills us and comes into our lives, it is the sacred touch of God on our life.

Acts 10:38 says "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him."

God wants to fill you with His presence and His power. The power of the Spirit, so that you can go about doing good, healing all who are sick and oppressed of the devil.

2 Corinthians 1:21 says "Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God," so the power of the Spirit is not only the sacred touch of God but the power of the Spirit also establishes us in God, it builds us up in God.

Receiving the full power of the Spirit means that we are empowered for the work of the ministry.

I want to encourage you today to receive the outpouring of the Spirit. Receiving the outpouring of the Spirit means to receive and outflow from God.

As you get into your prayer closet, as you read the scriptures, ask the Holy Spirit to pour out of His fullness and presence into your life. The Holy Spirit will descend upon you and Acts 1:8 says "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

The first thing is that you will receive power. The second thing that happens we notice in Acts 2 is that is they were all together in one place and one accord. So the first thing is that God empowers you, the next thing He does is He brings unity. In that place of unity, the Bible says that God pours out His Spirit. He brings unity to families, cities, unity in churches. Wherever the Holy Spirit is present, there is unity.

Acts 10:44 says “While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word.”

As you receive the power of the Spirit, God brings unity to your heart and as you speak to others, the power of the Holy Spirit will fall on them. Their prayers will be answered and miracles will take place.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Acts 1:8
